Recycling
We take our responsibilities to the environment seriously at imagineear.
We build our audio players to be robust and, like a good book, to last as long as you need them to. Just add a battery and press play. There is no need to throw one away.
Nevertheless, as a producer of electronic products we are cheerful members of the WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) recycling scheme created run by our UK partner, Comply Direct. Membership registration number: WEE/JC1238XY. And we are working to add other EU schemes.
What this means is that we join forces with other WEEE producers to pay government regulated third parties to collect and recycle electrical and electronic equipment on our behalf at the end of its life. And we are working on ways to recycle batteries as well.
We mark this on our audio players with the crossed out wheelie bin symbol:

In addition, if you would like to return your player to us, we will ensure that it is responsibly recycled on your behalf. Please follow these steps:
- Remove and keep the map, earphones, splitter and any other packaging
- Remove the battery from the player, and consider recycling the battery in the normal way
- Pack the player in a protective envelope. In the European Union the address to return the player to is: imagineear Recycling, Cardiff House, Tilling Road, London NW2 1LJ
