Bozar upgrades to MPti™

The Bozar exhibition centre in Brussels is joining the Van Gogh Museum in selecting our newest device, the MPti™ for their upcoming ‘The Sultan’s World’ exhibition. The exhibition examines the influence the Near East has had on Western thought and art. The exhibition explores this theme with masterpieces by Bellini, Carpaccio, Dürer and Titiaan, amongst others.

It is one of a run of successful exhibitions that Bozar has staged. In January last year, it put together an extraordinary exhibition of the work of Francisco de Zurbarán, also known as the Spanish Caravaggio. Imagineear created a successful audiotour for this exhibition on its MediaPacker™.

The upgrade for this exhibition to the MPti™ means that visitors can now take advantage of excellent image quality on an ample, touch screen device. They will be able to look at each work of art in detail, and select whichever piece of carefully curated information interests them the most, thanks to clever layering. The device also has an inbuilt camera, enabling QR code reading and augmented reality. Content on the device can even be sent, received or triggered in a variety of different ways. The content is available in English, French and Flemish, reflecting Bozar’s international audience.

Andrew Nugée, Founder and Chief Executive of Imagineear, says: “We are delighted to introduce the MPti™ to another world class cultural site. We have worked with Bozar on many projects and are excited to be able to evolve what we offer to their visitors with them. Now the content we produce with them is matched in excellence with the best device available in the handheld multimedia market.”

‘The Sultan’s World’ is open from 27th February – 31st May 2015 at Bozar, Brussels. For more information, or to book tickets, click here
