Prison Peterhead invites visitors to walk the halls and corridors of the former “HM Convict Prison Peterhead” the only “convict prison” in Scotland. As part of the audio guide that accompanies the tour, visitors listen to officers speaking of their experiences whilst seeing what “real” prison life was like.

Peterhead Prison chose to transfer their existing audioguide content to Imagineear’s MPtouch Interactive™ (MPti™) device and, in addition, required a solution enabling visitors to listen to content on their smartphones.

Imagineear used the existing content to produce an Imagineear Web App solution for the prison, allowing them to offer audio tours on both handheld devices and also smartphones in multiple languages including English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish.
