Dordrechts Museum latest site to launch MPti™

Dordrechts Museum has joined the Van Gogh Museum and Bozar by becoming the latest cultural venue to offer its visitors the MPti™. Four hundred years of art in the museum’s permanent collection will be explored by visitors using the MPti™ in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. In addition to the high quality, touch screen which encourages visitors to access beautifully displayed and layered information, the device also means innovative things for communication. Information can be triggered and shared via five different means, giving museums a greater technical creativity in how they engage their guests. The camera also presents exciting opportunities for augmented reality experiences.

Eleonore Heijboer, Founder and Creative Director of Imagineear, says: “Despite only launching a few weeks ago, the MPti™ is proving to be a sought after option for cultural organisations wanting to engage their visitors in a genuinely innovative way. The functionality means that the creative possibilities are almost endless. The flexibility in the way we work means that we can push and explore these technical possibilities, utilising them to achieve Dordrechts Museum’s aims in new ways.”
