Imagineear Builds for Sargent: The Watercolours

Dulwich Picture Gallery has commissioned Imagineear to create the design interface and to build the tour for its new temporary exhibition Sargent: The Watercolours.

The show, which runs from 21st June until 8th October, is the first in the UK in nearly 100 years to be devoted to watercolours by the Anglo-American artist, John Singer Sargent.  It brings together 80 paintings from private and public collections, revealing Sargent’s talent for light and colour in this medium, inspired by his painting trips to Europe in the early 20th Century. The guide is narrated by co-curators Elaine Kilmurray and Richard Ormond, Sargent’s grand-nephew.

“We are proud to be part of the Gallery’s interpretation for this beautiful exploration of Sargent’s work in watercolour,’ says Iain George, UK & Ireland Project Director at Imagineear. “We worked in collaboration with the team at Dulwich Picture Gallery to provide the creative look and feel of the tour and to build it for our MPti™ players – helping the curatorial team realise their vision for the tour’s content.  We wish the exhibition and the Dulwich Picture Gallery every possible success.”
