Imagineear partners with Spanish tourism company DNA at Murcia Cathedral

A brand new visitor experience has opened to the public at Murcia Cathedral thanks to the continued partnership between Imagineear and Spanish company DNA, building on previous projects at Tarragona Cathedral.

A self-guided multimedia tour, available on Imagineear’s touchscreen MPi™ devices, has been created to guide visitors around the Gothic style Cathedral as well as its dedicated Museum. In a move away from a traditional keypad based tour, Imagineear created a guide interface giving visitors the choice to navigate their way around using an interactive map or a list view of all the points of interest on the tour.

Among the highlights is the impressive 95-metre tall belltower, twenty-five bells from the 14th to 18th Century, the 15th Century vault in the Chapel of Los Vélez as well as the famous Baroque façade. In addition to the full multimedia production Imagineear advised on tour structure and script edits. The guide is available in Spanish, English and German.
