The Largest Museum of the Netherlands chooses Imagineear
Eleven Dutch churches and two synagogues, together with the Catharijne Convent Museum, have joined forces in an unusual and much publicised project known as Het Grootste Museum van Nederland – The Largest Museum of the Netherlands.
Provocatively named The Largest Museum of the Netherlands because of the volume of fine art housed in the splendid settings the places of worship together provide, the campaign has caught the popular imagination in a country where institutions like the Rijksmuseum are more accustomed to the accolade.
In delivering the ambitious project, Imagineear worked in collaboration with renowned Dutch strategic design agency Fabrique to provide a multimedia visitor tour in ten of these important religious monuments, scattered around the country. Fabrique designed and created the production and Imagineear provided its MPti™ devices to play the tour. The devices also trigger selected content at various of the sites to highlight exceptional stories, distinctive interiors, fine architecture and remarkable works of art.
