Mobile multimedia – enhance, direct, immerse or distract?

As part of the run up to Museum Ideas 2016, Imagineear is running an affiliate workshop at The Museum of London on Tuesday, 4th October, for which a last few tickets remain.  Case studies of our high profile mobile multimedia tours including those for The Rolling Stones’s Exhibitionism and the London Stadium / West Ham United Football Club.  These will be examined to reveal the challenges we faced and overcame to achieve success for our clients and their visitors.

‘We’ll explore the integration of a multimedia experience into the physical space and the visitor’s journey using the traditional media of sound and vision, and considering newer options such as virtual and augmented reality.  Whether it be a gallery, temporary exhibition space or sports stadium we’re committed to making handheld multimedia work as an integrated part of the whole experience’, explains Andrew Nugée, Imagineear’s founder, who will introduce the session together with Managing Director, Clare Cooper-Hammond.

The workshop element will be led by Iain George, Project Director and Vasileios Karageorgos, Head of Mobile Media, and supported by Emma Thompson, Creative Development Manager and James Beattie, Mobile Media Executive.
