Queens Park Rangers launches Korean language stadium tour

Korean visitors to Loftus Road will now be able to take a stadium tour in their own language. Having formally been available in English, the updated Korean tour was created by Imagineear and is available on a MediaPacker™ audioguide to all fans visiting the stadium.

The tour allows visitors to explore the stadium, taking them into parts of the site that they would not normally have access to, such as the changing rooms. It includes archive footage and exclusive interviews with figures ranging from fans to the manager.

Queens Park Rangers has a growing Korean fan base. The signing of South Korean players Park Ji-sung followed by Yun Suk-young meant that even more Koreans got behind the West London team. The club has welcomed its new fans enthusiastically through launching a Korean language Twitter account and by working with Imagineear to launch the Korean stadium tour.

Andrew Nugée, Found and CEO of Imagineear, says: “From the outset of working with Queens Park Rangers, we were aware that they had an active Korean fan base who they were keen to connect with. After launching the English language stadium tour with Queens Park Rangers, we started working with them to create a Korean language tour. The tour not only tells the club’s story in Korean, but also gives Korean speakers a rare chance to hear interviews from members of the club, translated into their own language. We are pleased to have been able to deliver the project and look forward to working with Queens Park Rangers on whatever comes next in what is an exciting time for them as a Premier League team.”
