Our audioPorter™ packs quite a powerful punch! You buy the player with one of our great destination tours or music compilations already pre-loaded. And when you have finished the tour, you can upload your own music or spoken word content, and re-use the audioPorter™ as your personal mp3 player. It’s rechargeable, easy to use, and great value for money as a professional quality, ultra-low cost mp3 player.
The innovative audioPorter™ helps in many more ways than one:
- You never need to run out of battery again – ever! The audioPorter™ has a unique back-up fuel supply. Called dualFuel™, the player switches automatically between a replaceable AAA battery (offering 8 hours of playtime) and a rechargeable mobile phone battery (also 8 hours of playtime). This means you can recharge the player on your computer but you are not dependent on it – just insert a AAA battery if you run out of power.
- Let the audioPorter™ conserve energy for you – by falling asleep. If you pause the track you are listening to, and wait 60 seconds, the player will go to sleep. To wake it up again, just press and hold the Play/Pause button until you hear a ‘Ping’.
- Share the player – and the tour – with a friend! The audioPorter™ has twin earphone sockets, and comes with two sets of earphones, so two people can share the great audio experience. We think all mp3 players should have two earphones – it’s double the fun.
- You don’t need a manual to operate the easy controls (the one we link to below is to help you trouble-shoot or upload to iTunes). There are three ways to navigate content: press and hold to fast forward within a track, click to jump between tracks, or to ‘leap’ between tours or playlists use the menu button marked ‘M’.
- Don’t worry about losing your place! If you keep your audioPorter™ switched to On and pause the track you are listening to, the player will bookmark where you have got to. When you press Play, the player will start again from where you left off, even if it has nodded off to sleep in the meantime. To clear the audio bookmark, simply switch the player to Off.
- Use the audioPorter™ to store – and transport – your files. Yes, the audioPorter™ is a best-in-class great value audio mp3 player. But it is also a memory device and can store – and carry – any file. Add PDFs, video tracks, word files, presentations ... just as you would another hard drive.
- Add your own memory upgrade. The audioPorter™ uses industry-standard micro-SD memory cards. If you want to add different content, or boost the memory capacity, just replace the card. Easy as pie.
- Recycle the player and packaging as you wish. The audioPorter™ box is manufactured from recyclable polypropylene. The audioPorter™ itself will play on and on, so you may not want to dispose of it in a hurry. But if you do, you can recycle the player yourself in the same way as other electronic goods, or return it to us if you prefer, and we will recycle the player for you.
