Thomas Munns joins Imagineear in new paralegal role
Imagineear is delighted to welcome Thomas ‘Thom’ Munns who is taking up a newly created paralegal role, based in the London office. The position will support Imagineear on all matters legal, including working on client contracts, professionalising company documentation and reviewing legal templates, as well as dealing with important matters of GDPR, IP and compliance.
Thom studied Law both as an undergraduate and a postgraduate student at Durham University, and has a particular interest in Humanitarian and International Law. He has completed internships with Allen and Overy (solicitors), Streeter Marshall (solicitors), Furnival Chambers (barristers) and the Syrian Legal Development Programme.
“I’m delighted to welcome Thom to the Imagineear family. As the company continues to grow rapidly, in projects, client numbers and indeed employees, the need for more structured legal support and robust internal processes becomes ever greater” said Andrew Nugée, Founder & CEO. “I’m in no doubt that with Thom’s legal background and skills he will make a valuable addition to our team.”
A keen sport enthusiast, Thom has played and coached elite, university-level rugby. He is also a classically trained musician who has performed in choirs (including the National Youth Choir of Great Britain), bands and orchestras at well-known venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Cadogan Hall. He speaks basic Japanese and Spanish as well as intermediate French.
Thom is looking forward to getting to know the team and assisting them in the various areas and projects that they may be working on. He believes it to be an exciting time to join the company and hopes to learn a lot, both professionally and legally. He will be based at Imagineear’s London office reporting to the CEO, Andrew Nugée, as part of the professionalising head office team.
