We Are Hiring! Graphic Designer – Maternity Cover

The role of the Graphic Designer is to support the Creative Department in the design and execution of innovative and engaging multimedia tours and apps for our clients in the sports, culture and health sectors. The role takes creative direction and reports to the Design Director, and works closely with the Project Management and the Development teams.

Main duties

  • Design user interfaces for mobile devices, apps, web, and other interactive applications
  • Deliver creative and engaging designs with a unique look & feel, or tailored to specific brand guidelines
  • Design interfaces from concept to delivery, by using wireframes, flowcharts, mock-ups and storyboards, and publishing final graphics for deployment
  • Research artwork and manage project assets, such as photography and video
  • Create, edit and publish AV content, such as slideshows, animations and videos
  • Design for print marketing collateral, such as brochures and manuals
  • Follow in-house guidelines and practices, and archive work as required
  • Adhere to best practice and industry standards and be user-focused
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within budget

General requirements

  • Play a full part in the team to help address the needs of the business as they arise
  • Offer constructive solutions to problems and issues, or opportunities, as they arise
  • Undertake additional relevant background research tasks when requested to do so
  • Undertake any other tasks requested by your Manager from time to time
  • Travel from time to time with members of the Imagineear team to sites/clients to assist with creative brainstorming sessions

Person specification

  • As the successful candidate, you will have:
  • Degree-level qualification in graphic design or related subject
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a studio environment or similar
  • Demonstrable experience of designing user interfaces for mobile or web
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programmes, with emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro/After Effects
  • Good communications skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage projects in multiple languages
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail, and a positive attitude to your work

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
