The role of the APAC Account Manager (AAM) is to help Imagineear clients to make the very best use of Imagineear products, services and apps. The AAM will be responsible for the entire after-care process, and will help clients to optimise the audio guides and tours they deliver to their visitors.
This will involve training, mentoring, organising internal support services and providing ongoing support. The AAM will advise clients on content options, and will help clients develop marketing strategies including both internal communication plans to ensure maximum engagement within the client team, and optimal take up/download/usage by their visitors.
The AAM will have access to a wide range of support material and an online portal, and will support clients and partners across the APAC region, with working hours mirroring APAC time zones.
Core Responsibilities
● Manage the ongoing contacts with Imagineear and partner clients
● Adhere to the After-Care Communication and Management Plan
● Report progress
Liaison and account management
● Be the first point of contact for clients
● Provide full after-care services for the clients
● Be in regular proactive contact with clients
Ongoing support
● Train clients on how to use the content management system
● Provide all help with troubleshooting
● Provide assistance throughout the process
Marketing
● Communicate best practice recommendations for app marketing
● Help clients develop marketing and communication plans
Team responsibilities
● Play a full part in the team to help address the needs of the business as they arise
● Offer constructive solutions to problems and issues, or opportunities, as they arise
● Undertake additional relevant background research tasks when requested to do so
● Undertake any other tasks requested of them by their manager from time to time
Location, reporting
The role is based in Imagineear’s London office, and reports to the COO. We are open to a home-office hybrid arrangement, with weekly local travel to the London Office, and with a minimum of two days a week in the office. Willingness to travel within the APAC region, or further afield, is desirable.
About the candidate
Required skills and experience:
● Fluent Japanese and English a prerequisite
● Additional Asian languages desirable
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● 3+ years’ account management or client relationship management experience
● Experience within a client facing role
