The Sales and Marketing Support role will extend Imagineear’s sales effort both directly to clients a through our growing channel partners’ network.
About the role
The role of the is to be part of the sales and marketing team through the prospecting process, introducing the company to potential clients and partners and scheduling meetings with key decision makers.
The Sales & Marketing Support role will play a pivotal role in collecting market data (for example tenders coming up) and maintaining a sales lead database. Flexibility, and a positive approach to creative problem solving is essential. The role reports to Sales and Marketing Director.
Location of work
The position is based in Imagineear’s office in Amsterdam. We are open to this role being partly home based, with regular (twice a week) travel to the office.
Key responsibilities – Sales
- Prospecting , for example by creating target lists
- Assist at trade fairs and congresses
- Monitor prospects for tenders and RFPs
- Contact prospects for a first introduction
- Schedule meetings for the sales team
- Help write, edit and proof-read proposals
- Manage the database in Pipedrive, Imagineear’s CRM
- Keep Pipedrive up-to-date and follow up on alerts, eg contract termination dates
Key responsibilities – Marketing
- Follow up on news alerts in the market
- Managing the website
- Initiating & writing news posts and case studies
- Initiating & writing social media posts (LinkedIn/ Instagram)
- Help organising sales events online and offline
- Liaise with the marketing colleagues in London
- Having weekly updates with our external Marketing agency
Team responsibilities
- Play a full part in the team to help address the needs of the business as they arise
- Offer constructive solutions to problems and issues, or opportunities as they arise
- Undertake other tasks when requested to do so from time to time
About the candidate
Required skills and experience:
- Strong research and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English, with other European languages a bonus
- A proactive problem-solving approach
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Desirable personal qualities
