Imagineear bring crystal clear audio to the Museum M Leuven, Belgium

Further expanding our portfolio of clients in Belgium, Imagineear was chosen by the Museum M Leuven to provide the ideal hardware solution to enhance its guided tour offering at its latest temporary exhibition, Dieric Bouts: Creator of Images.

The M Leuven art museum attracts visitors from all nationalities and backgrounds, boasting an extensive collection of fine and contemporary art. This latest exhibition, Dieric Bouts: Creator of Images, is the largest ever body of work by the Flemish master to be exhibited in his hometown of Leuven, Belgium.

To ensure that visitors can experience and enjoy the museum’s guided tour offer with maximum clarity and comfort, Imagineear provided 180 of its Digital GroupGuide™ (DGG™) devices.

The DGG™ is a lightweight and easy-to-operate system that provides digital clarity for up to 64 groups on discrete channels at the same time, over a range of up to 50 metres. The DGG™ system helps to preserve a guide’s voice during the course of a tour, allowing them to conduct larger tours more frequently and to audibly reach all guests in the tour conveniently and pleasantly.

“M Leuven is not the first museum in Belgium to choose the DGG™ system,” said Petra Brinkhof, Head of New Business Development at Imagineear. “We are proud that renowned museums like the Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren and exhibition centres such as BOZAR in Brussels and Z33 in Hasselt, have all chosen our solution for the convenience of their visitors and their highly appreciated guides.”

Lieve Raymaekers-Bozar representative of the Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels said, “We are very happy with Imagineear’s quick service in general and, in particular, with the use of the Digital GroupGuide™ system. The devices are made of a very user-friendly, light material, which we enjoy working with, suitable for a diverse audience.”
