Imagineear partner at EPIC Museum

In a new collaboration, Imagineear has worked with global multiscreen platform provider Digisoft.tv to provide an alternative way for visitors to access the audio guide app at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin’s Docklands.

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, partnered with Digisoft.tv to launch its Virtual Reality Museum Experience, to bring Ireland’s dramatic story of emigration to life in a fully immersive 360 degree virtual experience.

The accompanying audio app needed a technical solution to offer visitors a reliable, stable way of being able to use the app as they toured the museum.  Imagineear’s robust touch-screen MPti™ device with a twelve hour battery life was the best hardware solution to iron out technological difficulties on site.

Imagineear’s tech team adjusted the app’s interface and performed the set-up necessary to play the app on the MPti™, giving visitors a smooth audio tour experience in a choice of Irish, English and five other languages.

“With our experience in audio and multimedia tours in museum spaces, our purpose-built hardware and our tech and app knowledge, we are ideally placed for this sort of collaborative partnership to provide solutions to needs in a complex and sophisticated environment,” said Clare Cooper-Hammond, Imagineear’s MD. “EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is a fascinating place for visitors, particularly if they have Irish connections and it was a pleasure to be part of delivering a seamless visitor experience.”

We are ideally placed for this sort of collaborative partnership to provide solutions to needs in a complex and sophisticated environment.
